Internships are a vital part of the learning experience provided by the Society of Manufacturing Engineering. They offer students an excellent opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings, gain hands-on experience, and develop practical skills essential for their careers.

Internships not only enhance technical abilities but also build soft skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. By the end of their internship experience, students are better prepared to enter the workforce with confidence and a clearer understanding of their professional goals.

The SME Platform successfully facilitated 45 internship opportunities for students of the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Department, NED University of Engineering & Technology in collaboration with leading industries, including:
